About Me

Hello! My name is Payman and I'm a Technical Product Developer specializing in Industrial IoT and SCADA systems for the energy sector. My journey in software development started back in 2005 when I began developing web applications professionally — turns out building solutions for industrial systems taught me a lot about both software architecture and the energy sector!

Fast-forward to today, and I've had the privilege of working at various companies across different sectors for nearly two decades. I'm now at E.ON, one of Europe's largest energy corporations, where my expertise in system design, programming, and object-oriented software design comes together with my deep understanding of energy systems.

Currently at E.ON, I work as a Technical Product Developer focusing on modernizing energy systems and developing solutions for distributed energy resources. I previously held a Technical Operations Manager role where I was responsible for 24/7 VPP operations and led implementation of new projects across UK and Germany. My experience spans from low-level system architecture to complex solutions on different platforms.

My specialties include system design, programming, and object-oriented software design, with strong experience in concurrency, parallelism, and event-driven architecture. I have ownership experience of major features and components from inception to deployment.
